Hi everyone!
As the title of this blog indicates, I am in an anthology–not literally, of course! But specifically, some of my poems have been included; not just one, though, or two for that matter, but THREE. Yes, three poems!
So, what is this anthology that I’m talking about? Well, it’s been a side-project that I’ve kept under wraps over these weeks, and its connected to another passion of mine.
As some of you may know, I’m a (very) active member in Manchester Metropolitan University’s Poetry Society–being its Vice Chair and Treasurer in the 2021/22 Committee. Through this position I have had a direct hand in the compilation, publication, and promotion of MMU Poetry Society’s first anthology!
The Poetry Society Anthology, 2021
Over the Spring and Summer, the Committee worked hard to collate the poems and short fiction of the Poetry Society’s members. Although our society–or any one that we know of–has never attempted to publish their own anthology, the Committee has put their heart and soul into it.
Being the Poetry Society’s first foray into the world of anthologies, we don’t have the expertise to publish it as a physical copy; so, the anthology is only available in digital form, which you can see and download a copy for yourself by clicking the link below:
Do expect a massive range of unique content! From nature to biblical tales, and everything else in between, this edition has something for everybody!
